I've done alot of thread searching here on SHOForum. But I cannot find anything about the lengths of the various steel lines and the size of the fittings. Anybody have that handy? Obviously the answer would be to pull the current lines off and measure, but before I start cracking on that I'm curious if anyone has done this before and has measurements.

I would pull it and measure it. I don't think anyone here has the information required. What I personally would do is buy some brake line, and what ever I didn't need cut off. Then flare out the end.

Oh BTW, Looks like you have a Engine-less 06 Fusion! What cha doing with that? Wow, looks like you have a chunck of change at home with all the cars on your list ;)

I dunno how much your spending or if you repairing all your lines or replacing, Id get a stanless brake line kit there liek 125 bucks new might be able to find it cheaper depends on where you buy it. They come with everything you need to replace all your stock stuff all fittings and the lines. Stops your car faster too and gives a nic ebrake pedle feel did on my car at least. I have 3 brand new stanless lines if your interested both fronts and a left rear all you would have to do is make the right rear. or I have a used right rear with a broken fitting you could buy the fitting and recrimp it. Heres the link on ebay:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...m=260007527850&ih=016&sspagename=STRK:MESE:IT

I'm definitely planning on replacing the all the lines. And these are the hard lines all over the car, not the rubber hoses at each corner. I've located the bad line, but even the lines going from the master cylinder to the ABS controller are covered in rust. Guess I'll have to take plenty of notes and come up with this info for the next guy :p

Oh, and the Fusion gets a new engine this week, just in time to be turned in for something new, the next guy will start over with a pretty much fresh car. :thumb:

i'd buy the 25' or 50' roll and cut to length. there are some tricky fittings but Murray's sells adaptors to turn all the fittings into regular flares. look here

Great link Corey. When I went to pull the line out, I discovered the fittings in the little box are 13mm while the fitting that attaches under the passenger door is SAE. Looks like I need to adapt a fitting to fit into the 13mm box?
