I've never seen H&R's for sedans before so I'd bet that's a wagon set. Either way the front spring rate is probably too low for the weight of the car.

Will fit either one. Does not matter wagon or sedan.

Item: H&R PERFORMANCE LOWERING SPRINGS BK FORD TAURUS 96-00 ( 8071597757)

Hello, Are these for the Taurus Wagon ONLY, or for the Taurus sedan? How well would they work for the Taurus SHO?
Thanks.

Seller said it will fit either one...

If he said that.. are you really going to believe him? I would trust the guys that know what they are talking about.

Someone's terribly misinformed. Forum members or eBay salesman. You decide.

I personally would only use the fronts anyhow David. Once you lower the rear, the rear still looks a bit saggish due to the wheel well cut out. If I could do it again, I would run SHO springs in the rear, and Eibachs in the front.

I would go for that set, use the fronts, and throw away the rest.

I tried running Eibachs in the front and OEM springs in the back. Gives a nice raked look but I was running out of gas at an 1/8 of a tank as the pitch caused the fuel to move forward away from the fuel pickup.

SHOALL ... when I saw your wagon, I thought for a moment it was a pic of mine.

I do like your wheels!
