Guaging Interest/Planning - spring time Aurora area dyno day and BBQ

So, ever since I moved to Aurora to live with another SHO owner, we have been trying to plan a BBQ. But with both of us being pretty busy over the summer, and then other events happening, we never really got a chance. So we're thinking sometime in the spring.

Someone had mentioned to me that there is a Dyno at a place called Total Power in St. Charles by the Dupage county airport. If there is enough interest, I can call them and set up a dyno day for the AM/early afternoon. Everyone would then be invited to our place for the BBQ fun. Which would only be around a 15 minute drive.

With that in mind, would Saturday or Sunday work better for most people? I would prefer Saturday, so then everyone could have a day to 'recover'. I'm also thinking around mid to late May. Gingerman is usually early May, and I dont want to conflict with that. Obviously, we can set a date after winter, as I am just seeing how many people would be interested in something like this.

Hehe, I think I was the one who mentioned the dyno place Saturday before 3 would be best for me..... I would probably be able to go. Oh and I saw you fillin up at the gas station right by the dealership and steak and shake... I had just got done trying to have some fun in a cobalt SS supercharged. Unfortunately they wouldnt let me drive it

Steve, Just keep in mind April/May is a ways off and some people have a hard time planning that far out. Bring it back up Dec./ Jan. if there is no more real response to this.

Steve. How about this saturday? I know that you had off all last weekend so you will need to work this weekend probably right?

Tell mike that since I did that valve stem for free he has to throw a BBQ/Beer consumption party.
