I have one question and one question only, and I'm sure it will sound stupid to those of you that have been dealing with SHOs and aftermarket parts for SHOS for a long time...

Do these covers block out the light supplied by the headlights/tailights, I'm assuming they don't, so I guess my real question is can I leave them on all the time and are they legal?

It does dim them quite a bit. Check your local laws for potential problems. I kept having to pull mine off at night cuz the cops would harass me so I sold mine..

Well I didn't know if that replaced the whole light or if it just like went over it...I was just making sure.

But thanks for the info with the added sarcasm, ******. Just kidding man. finger

I also had a problem with the cops when I had my tail light covers on, so I bought VHT nite shades paint and tinted the lights that way. They look really cool and it barely blocks the light output at all.

For the GTS headlight covers, do yall reccomend getting a higher output bulb?

I tried this, but didn't notice that much of a difference. I just took the covers off at night. I got to be too lazy, so I just got rid of them completely.

For the covers, it all depends on the town and their ordinace that you are in. I went to a city that my grandparents live in one time and it was about 80 degrees outside and not a cloud in the sky and i had them on and i got pulled over and was given a verbal warning to remove them. Now in my home town, i talked to a police officer and they said just to not have them on when your headlights should be on.(fog, rain, night...) I would just call your local police shop and ask them.

they look great, but hopefully where you live they won't be illegal. i got pulled over for mine and the cop made me take them off. i didn't mind, better than a ticket and then i sold them after that. they really do lower the brightness of your lights. i was always afraid that if i got rearended that the perosn could use my lightcovers as an excuse and it could probably work for them. spray tinting your tailights might be good too. they are cheaper and it is very easy to do. plus you can limit how dark you want them to go.
