Anyone know this? I have a set of arms that I cut the sleeves on instead of the bars and now I need to replace the sleeves. GM doesn't have a seperate number for the sleeves.

I already know I'm dumb, thanks. :)

Measure the distance from one thread to the next, this is your thread pitch. C'mon guy, they teach this type of stuff on Blues Clues! :D

I remember this info being posted but I can't find it. If I recall correctly, it's 20mm with a 1.5mm pitch. You can easily verify this with a metric caliper. Measure the diameter to confirm the 20mm number and then measure out 10mm of threads and count the number of threads and divide by 10 to verify the 1.5mm pitch.

Don't forget that you will need both right hand and left hand dies. I bought mine from MSC, http://www.mscdirect.com/. Cost only around $15/ea IIRC. Don't recall the size & since I'm at work, I can't go look for you. A cheaper alternative would be a metric thread file.
