So my DS door hasn't been able to lock at all for a couple months now but hasn't been too big of a worry but seeing as I just upgraded to a better stereo I figured it time to replace the broken parts...

I have an idea of the part to replace but my question is:

is there anything I can do to get the lock to function manually until I can get the part(s) to get the power portion working again? As of right now, my lock is seized in the unlock position...

Thanks much...

Hey Kevin, any advice on getting the actuator rod out of the latch assembly on the rear doors? I got the actuator out but I'm having a **** of a time getting that rod out.

It's been a while since I did a rear.
I remember it wasn't fun.
I may have loosened the latch assembly from the door.
This will allow for better rotation to get the rod end out.

I took the screws completely out of the latch assembly and still can't get it to come out no matter how I twist and turn the rod. Will the rod slide out through that plastic bushing-like thing in the latch, or does that plastic piece need to come out too in order for the rod to come out? Thanks Kevin!
