so my 95 atx is stranded at a local gas station , she wont start? all my lights and stereo work however it wont even try and crank - seems like a dead batt , again however the batt is only a few months old. now onto the question = while i was over looking everything , i noticed my ground to the batt doesnt look like a great connection , kinda sloppy connection. would this cause a no start , but have everything like lights n stuff to work anyway? hope this makes sence. any other ideas would be great. also the starter was replaced last year - kinda hoping its not that again? but i dunno? i dont even hear the starter clicking.

Fix your ground(s), check connections at the starter, and try again. Then report back. A bad ground can certainly cause a no-start.

Jiggle the connections around. My old Gen1 did the same thing from time to time. Corrosion owned me. Get it home and replace the cables IMO.

Go tell the owner/manager your car is stranded out there, most people will be understanding and not have it towed.
