I call Bear and ask the price to get a replacement rotor (cross drilled, slatted and zinc washed) and they told me about 190 each. "without the drilling"
I got this set of two rotors for less than that already drilled to the SHO pattern...

looks freakin sweet how much they run ya?

i found the guy on Ebay is the same person that LeddZepp8687 is talking about it
on ebay he offers like the factory rotors for like 170.00 or 179.00 for all 4 rotors.

I order a 13" Cobra rotors which he charged me different.

120.00 for the rotors re-drilled to the SHO pattern
20.00 for the painting of the hub optional

So final price was 140.00 for the front set, which still well under what Baer wanted for just one rotor along.:bonk:

i am very happy with the rotors so i ordered the rear ones as well and i am just waiting for delivery as we speak can wait to install them on my car.

Prices included cross drilled/slotted and zinc plating, so no more rust for me hehehe:naughty:

wow. looks good... alittle over **** for the rear IMO.

Having witnessed how fast slotted rotors eat through pads, i may just stick with drilled... or dimpled.

looks good though. :thumb:

that rear caliper doesnt grab much of the rotor. Are the new rotors bigger than the old ones? it looks like it. I like those alot:thumb:

Actually they are the exact same size but since i painted the old ones do the rusting i think it makes then look smaller and the new ones with all the clean expose area made then look bigger a bit but they are the same size...

You are right! the caliper doesn't grab much area on the rotor but it grabs just as much than in the factory one, and since most of the braking is based on the front brakes i went for the look rather. I have 18" rims so the small OEM rotors didn't do much justice for it, i though...:dribble:

Did Baer quote you $190 for the 2-piece rotors? That's my next braking upgrade.

Be careful with some of the cheaper rotors... They are generally cheaper for a reason. Had a cheaply set of cast rotors that were dangerous. This woud be on the 13" Cobra brakes. They looked like a decent rotor with slottes and directional vanes, but they almost got me in a few tough spots that could have been fatal for the car. I know for sure it wasn't the pads. The rotors also had cracking, heat checking, and the like.

Baer quoted me close to $500 for a set of thier 2 piece 13" rotors plus more $$$ to machine them to 12.5". I went with Todd because I didn't want my rotors drilled or slotted; I remembered seeing Vadim's huge pile of cracked drilled rotors. Todd's rotors have curved vanes and wiegh 1 pound more than the stock 10.2" rotors.

As i recalled and i did call Baer in several occasions for the front brake upgrade was 190.00 per rotor, each side was a different part number for a total of 380.00 plus shipping.

I know and i am aware of the risk of cheaper items in these case rotors, those i got are actually true Plain front Cobra Rotors the person i got them from does his own slotting, plating, and cross drilling himself, thats why some people may it noticed few less holes on the rotor as per a true cross drill rotor.
He sold me those rotors a 140.00 per set. big difference than 380.00 just trying to save some $$

Jean.

Vadim did warmed me about the Cross/slotted rotors not being so good but i always though that he was just trying to save some money from his part and sell me the plain rotors instead of th pretty ones....

I personally don't really race all that much at all so i don't find myself doing any serious braking on a daily basis so the cross drilled/slotted rotors suit me just fine for now...:dribble:
