When I went to pass someone today doing 65-80 my hood started shaking and I was wondering why??? Maybe more air is getting in the compartment and cause it to shake than it should. I had some work done recently such as a new ptu all fluid changes and my serpentine belt changed! Most likely y’all, what would cause this??

No is the hood loose or is there movement under the hood making it move? If the hood is loose that is easy enough to fix.

The hood is tight all the fasteners are there. I looked underneath it made sure my car cover on the bottom of the skid plate cover that’s plastic it’s there it looks like it’s tight there’s no gaps in the hood or anything that should be there everything looks tight and the only thing I can think of that would cause it to shake as there’s air getting underneath there somehow but it looks like they put it back together my car is a 2015 by the way so I’m not exactly sure why it would shake because before I took it in it never did and after I got it back it did so I’m not sure what’s going on

The hood on my Mustang will shake and flutter some from 80 up if there is a crosswind. Maybe yours is the same way on the SHO.

It wasn’t like that before they worked on it.
They put all the seals back around hood and on side of hood? Is your engine cover on? Plus there is a air flap from front bumper to frame, if it's not secured it will look a long cover that is sagging and will give you hood shake. I have had hood shake in all three of my Taurus's. Sometimes it's normal, big draft from a semi or strong oncoming wind. The part of hood closest to you will move up and down, I asked a dealer, said this is normal. They allow for flex. Just not what looks like hood bounce.
