Funny, I've actually been texting a salesperson at that dealership with that one - when I started, it was "used" with 88 miles. I'm in Dallas, so I was trying to move on one closer (10K miles, $30550).

It definitely seems like a reasonable price. I'm in Dallas too. If that one had been available last January I probably would have jumped on it.

I actually bought my wife's Milan from there a few years ago. I had a great experience working with them and if I was a little closer (1 hour away), I'd check it out for you.

I too have/had this one on my list. I spoke to them and it's classified as used because it was titled to be sold at an auction. I have it flagged to follow price changes and it's dropped from 33-$34,000 down to where it is now. Every time they change the price, I get an email. I have been meaning to unfollow it since I purchased a different SHO. They will move the price by $100 down and up just to trigger emails I am guessing because they see how many are following it. Checks all the boxes... Had it been eligible for new financing I likely would have jumped all over it!

I ended up with a '16 PP basically loaded to the max just like this one here w/ 10k miles for $26,000. Drove all the way from Memphis, TN to Forth Worth, TX to get it as well, lol...

Wow, now that's a deal.

Did you just miss it? I feel like Meador Dodge in Fort Worth had it for a while, idk... I literally drove right past you in Dallas to go get it first of December!

She looks good for her age! Almost a spitting image of mine as well.. I focused in on 2016+ because I wanted the newer Sync system for the entertainment section. Recently bought my son a '13 focus hatchback titanium and while we love it - it gets so laggy sometimes it feels like. Also think '16 was last year for the contoured seats?

There was a '13 identical to yours (not sure if PP - dont think it was) that sold at a dealer here in Memphis a month or two ago for $17,000'ish so you're not that far enough honestly.

Good luck w/ the sale!

I didn't start looking until the end of December, and actually I was only looking at 2017 models anyway. My 2013 PP hit 83k miles (still runs great). Problem now is I those won't give me near what I need for the trade-in and I can't get any hits on selling it.

Dealership wants to give me $12500.

You'll have a hard time selling at your price unless you find someone that isn't internet savvy. I'm looking at a 2015 with 55K miles, it is listed at 19,750 from a dealership. There is a 2014 with 35K miles a hundred miles in the opposite direction of me at a dealer for low 19's. You gotta get a good deal when you buy these cars or it's impossible to get rid of them without being upside down in the loan.

I ended up trading my in and got the one in Fort Worth (2017 10k PP), for $29991. Very happy with the deal.

Congrats! It’s hard to argue the prices requested for these cars as leftovers or ultra low miles. A performance bargain anyway you slice it.
Like the SHO’s of past, I wonder if 2018 will be last of the SHO. Does Ford intend to carry/revise the Taurus? I doubt dealers want to keep dumping the SHO, but works in consumers favor

There is a revised Taurus for the China market since 2015. Don't expect a US version, there may not even be a next gen Fusion based on falling sales and tighter margins than SUVs which Americans seem to love, again, until gas prices spike, again.

The land of excess once again, LOL? But to be honest, CUVs have come a long way and I am sure people feel safer in them. Heck plenty of CUVs with underpowered engines are now available to appease the mpg-minded, and labeled as Sport trim :nut:

That makes sense. I think government contracts come to play here too. Saw plenty of police Taurus’ when current model came out.
Being in the northeast, most departments are now going with explorer.
