Gonna check out an SHO, Need some help

I might be going to check out an '89 Taurus SHO 5spd in a few days, what should I look for? any specific things?

No rust, especially around the rear wheel wells and right in behind the rear doors. My car had rust here when I bought it and now everytime I look at it I feel sorry for my poor sho and with a students budget I can't do anything about it.
