Well i for starters im finally gettin the cams welded on my 97 sho its got bout 104,000 miles on it and still runing strong. i was just wondering besides new plugs whatelse i could to do for preventive maintenance. i heard that rotating the coils might be a good idea??? since it has high milage what do you think i should replace? Another thing i might do is check the valve clearances and maybe change the caps if needed is that quite the job?

Usually the coils go bad after being disturbed. I would buy at least 4 new ones to put in the back. I also would stay away from OEM ones, at least the older OEM ones. Seems the more recent coils from Ford are a bit different.
