I believe it has been found that the cowl hoods really don't do that much for sucking out heat. But I don't have one so I don't know. Sure look good thou.

And If you look around on cardomian there is someone who cut holes out from behind the licence plate, that way you can just cover the holes back up.

how about cutting out the whole grill the part between the headlights and retrofitting a billet grill in there and then maybe cutting the header panel to get a nice amount of airflow as well. Heres a quick thing I did its nto very good but it gets the idea across. Looks kinda lie ka crown vic now i think Im not realyl sure if i liek it.

The cowl hood does help cool the motor. In fact if I dont clear the leaves off the window the cowl will suck them in. It will also suck in rain. Very cool to watch.

When ever you are ready to buy a cowl let me know. I can have it made in about a week for you. $500 shipped.

i can see heat escaping fro mthe cowl at a standstill after the engine is very hot, i assume it would be even better under movement (but i have an original cincySHO cowl, i assume the new ones would be the same)

Is this a deal you can do for anyone or was this a one time offer kind of thing? I would LOVE a cowl hood on my SHO.

Removed "grille"...bad idea?

Ok, since I need a water pump but keep putting it off due to the fact that it'll cost about $350.00, I took the "grille" off hoping it will let more air through the radiator and engine. Is this a bad idea? I noticed a sensor of some sort in front of the radiator, is it an airbag sensor? If something hit it just the right way, would the airbag deploy? Let me know what you guys think. P.S. yeah, it looks ugly without the "grille" but anything to get more air in till I get the water pump!

$350 for the water pump? are you having someone else do it? I got my water pump for $50 at the local parts store.

Who sells the cowl hoods and are there any others that aren't carbon fiber? CF is nice and all but expensive for a daily driver.
