We are looking for a new fuel pump option for the Gen3. We think we have one from Walbro but we want to make sure it is the right one. Does anyone have pictures of one? How does it compare in height to the Gen2 fuel pump?

Here is a picture of what we have.

I can tell you that the Walbro GSS342 is the right size dimensionally as I had one in my '97, so any pump of those dimensions will fit. The problem at the time was that nobody could source the correct filters for the pump and the canister, and that they didn't offer a pump with the correct flow rate (146lph IIRC). Choices were 120lph, 190lph, and 255lph. I went with the 255 because that's all we had on the shelf. I did have to go to an adjustable FPR to make it work properly.

Total length from top of connector (or fuel output ******) to feets on the bottom boot is 5 & 1/8".

Diameter of the pump body is 1 & 1/2"

Sock on the bottom extends 2" from the pump body.

In that last pic the pump should be on the other side of the module when installed.....
