ahh you know that body colored shell on the top of the mirrors.. Yeah i just wanna take that off.. And well.. repaint them.... I think i'd end up having to take the whole mirror off and take it apart to do it..

send a PM to coliveria95, he put g1 mirrors on my moonlight blue (which are colormatched) so i assume he'd know how to paint them.

Mine were painted without taking them apart. I dont know if they come apart.

I am currently in the process of getting this done. I talked to a professional body man and he told me that they pop off, just with a skinny screwdriver. You will probably have to pry around it before you get it to come off. Oh and wrapping a rag around the screwdriver woundn't hurt. Good luck :thumb:

haha yup.. i already was playing around with idea..

The reason why i wanna do it this way is i can take it to work and get it re-painted right away and put em on after they dry

At my work we make those colored mirror shells for the mustang gts so i figured they were the same thing for the GEN I sho.... just a little bigger ;)

I hate to be the one to burst your bubble but that color is royal blue not moonlight blue.

:rofl: Its so true. But remember she might be driving a Honda when were working of our SHO's. You win some and loose some. I'd prefer the SHO of corse.

me and my honda, will be very happy together :p, and i will get bad a$$ gas mileage!!!

i'll just be sure to take lots of pictures of my sho and put them everywhere so i always think about her and remind myself that its a money pit and i'm not ready for a family car yet lol

and joe- yea ill look at your rear end anytime... the SHO one that is haha

ok now no more julie bashing because she wants to get rid of her sho...

i have to admit, i'll cry when i see her go, but its for the best.
