What gets me is that after all the hard work to get this car back, some would still lump it in with a regular Taurus. www.tauruscarclub.com may be more suitable for you. See how much "SHO" specific help you get there :thumb: You could of always s00p3d up a regular Taurus to be just as fast as a stock SHO, but by the time you were done, you could have purchased a SHO and boosted it.

TAURUSTIME, Odd...

Its a gen 4, taurus SHO, thats the question isnt it? "which generation is the new taurus SHO" not "the new taurus".

Lets not kid ourselves, you put lipstick on a pig and its still lipstick, but isnt what most of us like about these cars? wolf in sheep clothing. I think this car is a little too bold in comparison to the older SHOs, but beggars cant be choosers right.

I'd be much happier driving a base model of THIS taurus, as opposed to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen equivalents. I think it looks pretty good, even for a Ford Taurus.

Mmmm I try to stay away from TCCA, for that exact reason.

Well it was good enough for you when SHOforum was down during upgrades/updates. And you've been back there since. :)

Anyways, this Gen 4 vs. Gen 6 debate is like talking about politics. Won't make a bit of difference no matter how many pages this thread ends up being.

Someone throw the V8 into the 5th generation Taurus so we can unofficially have both a 4th and 5th generation Taurus SHO. :munch:

The looks are almost identical to a Taurus. It will be titled as a Taurus. It will be sold as a Taurus. I appreciate bring the SHO back but there is going to be a lot of confusion about the Generations.

I wonder how many people here had a SLO Taurus before the SHO?

And I'm sorry I'm not as narrow minded as you Jason. But when I'm on SHOforum I give SHO advice and when I'm on TCCA I give Taurus advice unless the questions are about the SHO. It's not too hard to figure out.

Bizzy It is what it is, both the car and the banner. I'm done arguing about it.

And Biz you might as well just close the thread.
