Gen 2 Interior door handles

I seem to be having a problem with my door handles in my gen2. The spring that retracts the handle broke so I went to the bone yard to find another. The 4 gen2 taurii that were there all had the same problem. Is this something that I will just need to live with or is it just a freak occurance that 4 junkyard taurii all had broken interior door handle springs?

...I would consider it a fluke that all the jyard ones were broke. Just get a new one and replace it. Mine broke a few years ago, replaced it and it has been fine since.

I went to junkyard to fix the same thing on a friends SHO and some were broke some were not. It does seem to be a poblem for some.

ok i thought i was crazy but im not. mine does the same and to add to that the outside door handle seems wierd too. it unlocks and then i open the door and the lock goes down, so when its unlocked and i open the door handle the lock goes down. is that on all or is something wrong? my passenger door doesnt do that. could it be the door lock actuatar?
