I see rockauto has a Gates timing belt tensioner... is that a good part? I.E. is it actually for our cars?

T41205 part number

Haven't run across it before.

However, see the stickied thread above for details on the Dayco tensioner that is KNOWN to work on the 3.0L engines.

yes It was pretty good. I actually got the whole kit from Rock auto part#TCK248P, it is actually cheaper that way. Timing Belt, Tensioner pulley and the three cam seals for 100 bucks. not bad. But the kit is only avalible for the 3.0 motor.

ty, I'd rather be using Gates stuff then Dayco...........

just wondered if it really was for our application, I've ordered stuff off Rockauto before that was wrong, **** one time I even got felpro cam seals that said SHO on the box and they were wrong.....
