Just getting around to doing the valve adjustment on my '94 3.2. FelPro lists an intake manifold set for the 3.0 engine. Can anyone tell me if this also works on a 3.2? (I can get a swinging deal on FlePro)
Thanks
Bill

The Fel-Pro MS94831 ($45.98 from RockAuto.com) fits both the 3.0L and 3.2L. The only gaskets you will need from this set are the metal shim type intake-to-head gaskets. Those Motorcraft E9DZ-9439-A gaskets (2 required) are available from FordPartsOnline.com for $12.14 each.

scott,

I reused mine. Cleaned them off as best I could with gasket remover (good stuff). Then smeared a little black hi temp rtv on when I replaced them. Seems to work fine. Is my cheap ass lookin' fer trouble doing this? Seems likethe only time I would need to replace is if it gets kinked.

The rubber valve cover and plug well seals and metal intake to head gaskets are designed to be reusable. As long as they are not damaged or dried out (hard), they should seal fine. It was not until the 180,000 mile valve gapping service on my SHO before I had any amount of oil in the plug wells. I replaced them at that time ans they have been clean since. One seal set in 264,000 miles. Yes, they are reuseable.
