fuel pump issues- not working

A friend of mine just bought a 1994 Moonlight Blue MTX SHO. It does not run. The fuel pump will not prime and it is brand new. We went to the junkyard and grabbed another IRCM from a 95 ATX and it did not solve the problem. We have tried jumping the fuel pump pins and that did not work either. What else could be wrong? I can not seem to help him fix this car and that is all that is stopping him from driving it.

Sounds like you lost your power feed either into or out of the CCRM.

Do either of you know how to use a meter or are you both just "parts swappers"?

have you tryed reseting the inertia switch?

Actually the ICRM is not good. I swapped it for a working one and it shorted it out. I've searched the wiring but can not find a short, where could one be that I might have missed? I've been using a multitester and can't find anything wrong.

The inertia switch has been reset and replaced.
