The spring (that's what the dealer called it) on my fuel cover broke and I bought a new one from the dealer. I installed the new one but the cover will not automatically open using the lever inside the car. Any idea what else could be wrong.
The spring looks like a 2 inch piece of metal with a plastic hook (that is what broke)
