FSTB Hood Struts relocater kit

Is anything like that made or does anybody have ideas on what to do about that. I was thinking of getting a FSTB, but I hear that you have to remove or relocate that hood struts.

But you could just go pull a manual prop rod from another car at the J/Y.

Any ideas for a carbon fiber hood?

I cant recall the underside of the CF hood.... do you have a pic?


What pops into my head first, would be soild mounts that are on the STB that "attach" to the hood when it's up. Possibly, some 6-9'' pieces of steel, or aluminum. Then when you put the hood down, just have a holder for them or something....

or you could just drill a hole for the prop rod in the hood... carefully....

Ssimilar to the shock shho but no holes.

bluestreak, here is a pic of what comes in the relocation kit from adam. i dont believe he makes them anymore its very basic so if you know anyone that can weld and has some steel lying around can make these. you utilize the stock shocks.

the bigger brackets go on the hood and the smaller ones go on the fenders.
