How difficult of a job is replacing just the front bank O2 sensor? Is it a DIY job? Does anyone know how its done. I hope I can do it myself because im really lacking on funds right now.
Thanks in advance

An oxygen sensor socket makes it easier since it has a slot for the wires to come out the side, but you can do it with a open end wrench or Crescent wrench. You should apply anti-seize compound to the sensor's threads before installation to allow you to remove it someday without stripping the threads. The front sensor can be reached easily from the front of the car. It is on the front pipe to the passenger side of the oil filter.

on my 94 ATX I could not get an open end wrench up to get the O2 sensor out, I had to use the sensor socket and then it came out easy, then I put the new one in and it took about 5 minutes for the front and about 20 minutes for the back. Use anti-seize like Scott said so when they need to be replaced again you wont have more work than you need. The socket is cheap and I paid like $35 w/tax for each sensor.
