The attached images are of the broken Anchor 2967 front motor mount which had only 6K miles on it. Note that the internal center bolt in the bottom portion pulled out of the top portion. The threads in both the bottom and the top portion don't appear to have sheared or stripped, so perhaps it wasn't screwed in all the way when manufactured.
Incidentally, this is a stock car which is not driven hard.
I haven't seen any recent posts on the Anchor mounts and was wondering if this early breakage problem is an ongoing thing with the current Anchor mounts for the 93 SHO atx. Any recent experiences which are posted will be appreciated.
BTW, I went ahead and replaced it with another Anchor 2967 and certainly hope this isn't something to look forward to again in a few thousand miles.
