Want to upgrade the front grill on my 2010 SHO. I would like something black, mesh or billet or something like the OEM 2013 SHO grilles. The biggest problem I am running into is I would like to KEEP the Ford emblem. I haven't found anything AM that keeps this. I like customizing but I am proud of my Ford and would like to keep all the emblems. Thanks for the help. :thankyou:

Superlux has a custom black mesh grille for I believe $600-700 right now, and he can add the ford emblem for you if you'd like. I'm not sure what his email is, but its the same grille that Mobsteel used to make that looks freakin' awesome!

I'm trying to justify the cash (just bought LVM tune) to buy one myself right now.

You can add a Ford Emblem to almost any grille. I didn't like the enormous size of the Ford Emblem that came with my Flex. So... when I purchased a Carriage Works Billet Bar grille, I later added a much smaller sized Ford emblem, that didn't look gaudy. Easy to find and reasonably priced on Ebay.

I would start with a "search" on this and the other topics you are interested in.

Several grille options.

Lots of performance threads on tuning devices as well as available aftermarket parts and what they due to HP.

Superlux email is [email protected]

He sells just the upper as well. I plan on ordering one as soon as I can. Everytime I get a little fun money something comes up where I have to forfeit it to reality.

I just emailed him a couple weeks ago, as of then it was $600 for a painted upper and lower with no sensor and shipping included. I will be ordering mine soon as my lower is toast.

I wish they could make it with the plastic honeycomb like the stock lower. I think it would look better and hold up better.

I love your hood, roof, stance, wheels and chin, but god I cannot understand the black surrounds with white grill, lol. I think it would look so much better reversed but if you like it then more power to you.

I blacked out my stock front grill with plastidip and also my lower led lights...the plastidip didn't hold up well and started to chip...i'm going to see if I can get it professionally painted next. I have an extra grill so i'll see about dropping it off to have it looked at somewhere locally...I really do like the way it looks all blacked out...I would just suggest having someone do it professionally because that will probably hold up better to driving abuse...

I don't think I like the smaller mesh grill as much...I like the look of the 2013 which has a larger grill mesh opening...

Appreciate the kudos, as well as the opinion on the grille color scheme.

Black grilles are fairly common. ****, you see 'em everyday.

I had ZERO interest in being like everyone else. :thankyou:

Another good aspect to reinforce that mantra is looking at my brake calipers.....

What kind of a ding-a-ling paints their brake calipers in white?

I do. :nut:

I like the white mesh screens and it's not something commonly seen.

So from that aspect alone, success! ;)

I kind of like the larger, honeycombed design of the new 2013 grilles on the SHO's.

But you know where that inspiration derived from for FMC to put matching grilles on their '13 model years???

From a crap load of us 2010 owners who were ******** up a storm about paying top dollar for their flagship sport sedan, and having very little distinction between all of the other offered (lower) trim levels.

Well that, combined with pictures of this grille set up as an example.

Which is pretty darn cool when you come to think of it...... nice to be a portion of the impetus for change on a grander scale.
