I've got a squeak that's coming out of both the front right and left 92 MTX that seems to be located here:

Squeak happens when turning. The rubber gasket looks quite worn, sounds like its rubbing on metal. In fact, the whole part around the center bolt looks very loose. Is there an easy fix for this, or do I need to take out the shocks and put in new bushings?

Thanks all,

AJ

The car is due for strut mounts and bearings. Pretty common.

You must remove the entire strut/coil spring assembly to do it right. And while you are in there, you might as well replace the struts, assuming they have more than 30 or 40k on them. ;)
