This is on a 93 mtx with ~150k. The front struts were changed out 3~4 years ago with Monroe Sensatraks, springs are original but do not seem to be weak. There has been a rattling noise coming from the front end for some time ~1 year.

Now when move forward aggressively in first (read any wheel spin) the driver's side wheel hops.

I've been looking at doing the motor mounts and strut mounts as well as any other recommended parts along the way to save on labor.

While I'd like to replace everything I'm rather low on funds, please suggest mandatory replacements parts, recommended, and extras if money were not an issue.

as for the rattling, i would sudjest looking at/replacing the sway bar endlinks. they are a pretty common failure and car rattle pretty bad. wheel hop is pretty normal in these cars but can be made worse by many things, endlinks included. check your motor mounts and alignment. also, some brands of tire just hop worse than others.

Then check your strut rod from the LCA to subframe and see if the sleeve broke or the bushings are shot
