From SHO FUN to SHO FKD

Well, after all that prepping and polishing to get the engine compartment pretty, on the drive home from Dallas the overdrive in the tranny let go. AGAIN!! This tranny is less than 7k old!! Needless to say now I have to drive all the way back to Dallas to get the "Transmission Shop" to do their warranty work. This time they WILL use redline, they WILL tap and die a drain plug for a tranny temp guage, and they WILL use a torque wrench to make sure the gasket seals correctly. I am sick and tired (literally) of the tranny ********. Insert your smart aleck mtx comment here... shoot

I'm sorry to here that....but they all have there problems. I would definately say its the shops !@#$-up!!

Please tell me you have some kind of warranty on that..not that you'd want to take it back to the same shop! I'm sorry to hear about the shoddy luck, things will work out ok.

Yes, I have a warranty, and no I won't go back to the same shop after it expires.

I am really sorry to hear that. I know how you feel I had the OD in my ATX let go 3 hours away from home. Don't take this the wrong way but it kind of makes me feel better to know that you MTX guys have problems too! burn_out

You misunderstand. His recently rebuilt ATX is malfunctioning. As of tonight, it won't even get out of first gear. Wish him luck.
