Ok... I have some 'Dorman' brass plugs I got from my buddy @ RCM. Now I noticed just by chance, in the CHiltons it shows 2 different ones. Freeze plug 'cup' and expansion type... and they install completely opposite of each other.... my question is... which way should I install these? Like the old ones were? Or should I turn em around.. ?

I would say install them the same way as the old ones, if you do it the other way I would think thad mess up the coolant flow.

well i was trying to figure out a way to word it correctly... but the cup type... the inside near the 'cup' is smaller around than the outer edge. Those are put in supposedly like the old ones. A true expansion plug is the opposite, so says chiltons.

well I tell you what, I dont see these coming out anytime soon..I have no worries about them popping out at all... They are actually suprisingly hard to get tapped in.. maybe its just the stickyness of the bonding stuff i dont know. It does look nice tho in the block.. :) Damn I can't wait to get this thing in there !!! Gettin close...
