What was the reasoning?

Not to mention, if I have a blow out I'm not stuck with a glorified can of fix-a-flat....I'll actually have a spare to throw on to keep me going. The benefits of the non-PP heavily out weigh the PP IMO.
For a DD I'm quite serious. The gearing is negligible as far as acceleration goes and the suspension equals a harsher ride. Maybe not "heavily" outweigh but I'll take the comfort and security of the drivers package and a full spare any day. Oh, my SHO will massage me as it blasts me back in the seat too. Both are fantastic but I just prefer non PP.The spare tire equals "heavily out weigh?" Can't be serious. The PP has oil and trans cooler, much better sport suspension, and steeper gears which I think is necessary to make the SHO.....a SHO! Without the PP you're missing half the puzzle of what makes a SHO.
Since the radar sensors for ACC and self park live in the same front bumper space as the supplemental oil coolers introduced in 2013 PP the options cannot coexist. While it may not be physical interference there is some production constraint that keeps the two from being combined. My only reasoning was that the adaptive cruise control was not available with the PP. I wish it would have been packaged with the PP. As the above posts mention, acc is very nice to have while cruising on the highway.
Since the ACC is a popular answer to the OP question, does anyone know why Ford never combined the two options (PP and ACC)? If they did at some point, my mistake. I know they did not on the 2013 model year.
Pp has massage seats as well.
