Hi, does anyone know where I can find the production numbers or also the code if it had one?

I have a 1992 SHO Black exterior, black leather interior, five speed, moon roof and fully loaded.
Does not have a rear spoiler. It has 87k miles, exterior refinished fifteen years ago and has never been in the rain since. Is DuPont Croma base coat clear coat. Had about a dozen door ding that I just had to have taken out. Paint is really nice, cut and polished. Could read a book or shave in the reflection. And it was expensive. Ouch! $500 just in materials. Also had the slicer wheels repainted BMW BBS silver. Looks way better than the bright silver from factory I think.

Has a K and N filter, Hawk performance brakes, BfGoodrich Comp T A tires. Previous owner ( I am second) said it has a performance chip. I can not remember which for it was 18 year ago that I purchased the car.

Per the factory production summary, there were 923 black 92s, and 369 had the black leather. You would have to get the build sheet to get the exact number with the other options.

But, it really doesn't matter for any value.

The black leather interior was available in 92 -93.
There are cases where a buyer demands a certain colour combination, and is willing to pay a premium.
An associate of mine searched North America for a Black / Black, imported it into Canada, and trailered 1000 miles to bring it home.

But I would not hold my breath waiting for a buyer like that.

On the other hand, I know of a black interior 92 that has sat for a decade, and there has not been one request for the interior.
