It's been awhile since I've posted on here. Been having an odd year, family issues, new job, etc.

Anyways I haven't been motivated to do much with the SHO, primarily because of financial uncertainties surrounding my current and possible new job, but my buddies finally convinced me to take the car up to the track last night.

If you guys aren't aware, I live in Denver so the closest track is Bandimere Speedway which sits at 5,800ft above sea level. Needless to say our 1/4 mile times are quite different than the numbers people read in magazines and forums such as this.

To make a long story short, I drove a good 30 minutes up to the track, went through tech inspections and jumped right in line. My first run was by far my best run as I hit a 14.3 @ 98mph.

Now I know most people look at that number and think 'ew' but at this elevation i had many people come and seek me out while i was pulling back in line. A large majority didn't believe me when I told them it was completely bone stock; most of which were the newer camaro owners. They were shocked that the SHO was right around their best times (stock).

Anyways, it was a fun time and I was glad to see the SHO turn some heads. I've been putting some thought into tuning it and making some people really raise their eyebrows but I don't know if I can convince myself to tune it with the issues i've already had (and continue to have) with the car. Not to mention we only get 91octane up here and I am not sure how tunes that are built back east handle the altitude. I'm always open to your thoughts though.

Cheers,
