So I went to my first autox of the year this past Sunday. All in all I was pretty happy. Finished 31st out of 76 cars. My goal is always to try and be in the top 20.....didn't happen this time, but still had fun. Felt like chaos behind the wheel my first few runs (as it usually does my first time out in the spring). Defiantly noticed the extra torque from the 3.2......made my corner entry a little fast in some area. I had an autox veteran ride with me and give me pointers. His quote was "That wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be". I had to laugh. He also commented that the car was very well balanced and had good power.....but then he drives an '83 gti that's not exactly a hp king.

Here is a link to some pics at the event. I'm the blue genII toward the bottom part of the page.

I was kinda disappointed that it was raining, but once I got going it was a blast. Sliding sideways around corners ect. Fun fun.

Just thought I would share. Kinda geeked to see how I'm placing after a bit more seat time.
