I would like to install a Sparco steering wheel on my 94'. I've done a search and the only thing I came up with was that a mustang adapter would work. :help: does anyone know what adapter would work and where I should look? and how much?
Thanks in advance. Mark

You're talking about an airbagless steering wheel, correct?

Well, I've got an '03 Mustang Cobra wheel (with airbag) on my '91, and the Ford tapered-D sort of shaft mating seemed to be common to most all of the airbag-equipped Fords of the era, my guess is that whatever adapter they sell for '91-04 Mustangs should fit.

Wouldn't that make the car illegal to register and/or drive on the road. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

if you were to put a horn on it, (which is do-able) it would be legal in most states. i think it depends on how old the car is.

The Mustang hub adapter will work on all SHO's except for an 89.

what do i need to do to get a nice wheel on my 89? adapter? was just gonna make my own adapter out of metal. (pretty good fabricator).
