Well, as some of you might know I have been meaning to put Intrax springs on my car for some time. Well, it finally got done, along with some 13" Cobra brakes.
Even though my car is anything but clean, heres the pics.

My pedal feel is amazing, and the stopping power is also amazing. I will eventually get around to painting the calipers, debating on black or silver. And probably paint the part of the rotor the pads dont touch to keep the ugly rusting down.

I did also cut one coil off the Intrax, and I think once the struts settle a little bit to the new height, it will be alot better. I may go back and lower the strut in the knuckle a little bit, also.

I think I'm ready for Gingerman on thursday, eh?

What about the copper color they paint the Brembo calipers. Just a thought to break up the black.

Nice. If you were to go with black or silver, go silver. But I agree with ycode90 that you should go with the gold/copper color.

Cant thank this guy enough for the help and use of the shop. :thumb:

If I get really ambitious, I might try and polish the face of the calipers. But I'll probably just paint them black.

The caliper brackets are designed for a 13" rotor. They only have to be modified to fit on 11.6 rotors.

The strut has a 'tab' on it which a bolt goes through that and the knuckle. You can remove this tab and actually lower the strut in the knuckle itself, which will lower the car. However, you will no longer have that mounting point. Is it probably going to move, no, but could it, yes.

You dont have to remove the entire tab. ;) Just elongate the hole upwards a bit.

And really, all you can do is "a bit".... unless you like grinding your CV joints on your struts
