I've seen pic on here of several cars w/ the SHO in the body molding filled in (silver SHO w/ black lettering). I was wondering if you guys(and girls) have painted these in, are they vinyl lettering? What?

I painted mine in.. masked the letters and sprayed them gold (as you can see in my .sig). Use something like Prepsol or acetone to remove extra dirt and wax from that area before you apply stickers or paint.

I'll have to repaint the area soon because it's starting to peel a little, gonna use a paint pen from the hobby shop next time... 40x easier to do it that way.

There are people on the forums and Ebay selling the lettering, which you can get in reflective material if I recall.

I used a $2.59 Paint marker/pen from walmart. Has held up (during Pacific Northwest winter! ) for about 6 now.

I got mine through Bob White also.

SHO2NV, I think the strips look better to. The letters need the contrast of, on my sho, black and red. :)
