I had looked into that color but it wasnt to interested in it. The one i have aquired is from a 2005 Nissan Sentra (special edition). The color is only availabe for that model only. It just looked awesome when i saw it. I stopped by the dealership and got the color code off the car. I was able to get a formula for it since i work at a body shop.

If anybody needs to get a formula for any paint just get the 3 or 4 digit code(depending on manuf.) and i will provide you with the formula so you can get an exact match. :)

I will be posting more pictures on wednesday. I am out of town right now and at Houston. So once i get back I will take more pictures. Currently the rear quarter panels are being worked on. The right side had to be reworked from the inside a bit since it was too thick (that was just how the fiberglass was added) and was worked down some more to give me an extra inch in width when i go to a 19" wheel. After this is finished the next step will be cutting the bumpers and adding the continuation of the flare to them. So far it really looks like a different car . The wide stance of it is just incredible.

Just a reminder for those who are interested in aquiring flare molds: This will be hand made and will be of the finished product on my SHO, and will only be availabe till when the car is primered. After that its just impossible, would not want to ruin the finish on the car.

Once a actual sale is made then a donation will be made to the Forum! :thumb:

Well i was down there for a job interview but unfortunatly the person that i had the interview with had accident the night before i went to houston and literaly split his car in half. Hope he gets well soon.

Well here are some more pictures. The inside of the flares have been worked down so it can look nice. plus give me the desired clearance...

You can kind of tell how it looks on the inside.

These other two are so you can see how the flare is going to line up with the rear door.

And this is just an extra one of the installation of the BOSS brace in the background with the aluminum bushing for the shifter rod. (Thanks Jose!)

Ramon,

The flares look great. What is the widest wheel/tire combination you can get under there?

I cannot afford to get the fenders right now, but you may consider making molds, rather than making the the fenders directly off the car.

When do you hope to get it finished?

I guess that you have not driven your car with the SHOrt Shifer and the aluminum bushing.

For the tire combination im going to go with a 19x8 for the front and im hoping to fit a 19x9 in the back to give it that RWD look.
The fenders do have to be made off of the car because that will be the fit after all the "tweaking" that had to be made to fit right.

About the shifter ... no i have not driven it but they did allow me to go in there and install the shifter, bushing and boss brace. I think about another month before its done, maybe even sooner.

Wow man, that looks awesome! I went through the entire thread again and the before and after photos are absolutly spectacular. Its amazing what some well trained body shop guys can do to a car with enough time, money and patience.

Good job man, Keep us updated on the progress :dribble: :dribble:

Well ... one of the fenders is in primer and the left one still work in progress.
Everything should be done by the end of this month! (Keeping fingers crossed).
Plus, i took off the door panels and im having them painted the same color of the car too and im going to get the smal part of leather on it and the door handle (inside of door) wrapped in black suede and maybe the roof liner too.

Once done I can install EH runners, BBB and maybe have a Tweecer RT by then!! Im sanding these down(runners) so i can polish them. I think i might sell the current set thats on the car at the moment ...they are already polished!

Here are the pics....

Awesome, I predict this car will soon be one of the most famous SHOs around when it's all done. :thumb:

I beeen taking apart the door panels completly and sanding them down so it can have a smooth finish. These will be painted the same color of the car plus the door panel peace that is leather will be redone in black/dark gray suade. I think these will be painted before the car. I already talked to the shop. Im expecting delivery on AUG 25 ... I want to make it to the AUG 28 BBQ at SHOCAGO's presidents house.
I will take some pictures of one of the door panels being worked on and post them soon.

Well here is the promised pic of the door panels. (one at least :thumb: ). The leather piece and the part you pull at to close the door is off are the parts that will be wraped in suede. I had to drill the back where the pieces were held at ... kind like plastic rivets but they are melted to the door panel. Here is a pic of one of the door panels. Most of it is sanded down smooth (no texture) and almost ready for paint.

There has been some clearance issues with the rear flares. So thats been pretty much the hole delay on the car getting painted. Im not sure if the car is gonna be done by the end of the month. I still have a Extreme motor mount to install , plus the new fuel pressure regulator that i just order both from SHONUT, a control arm, and my ported and polished heads. So its gonna be a B-Hatch once i get everything toghether. Can anybody say OVERHAUL?!

DAMN IM BROKE! ;)
