I just bought a fully loaded with everything SHO including the Contour Seats that massage as you drive and one week later (last night), I had a fender bender. I was only going about 1 mile per hour at the stop light when I hit the rearend of a truck. I can't believe it. Needless to say, I was appalled. The other guy only got a knock on his truck and I get a larger fender bender where the license plate is. I just had Geico for a week. I really hope they do not drop me.
I have an appointment coming up to get a remote starter put in and this happens. I feel like a real dummy.
Anyway, I just love this car. I really had my heart set on an Acura TL/AWD/Tech/HTP package but I thought for the same amoujnt of money at 45,000, I can get more for my money as it would have cost me the same with the TL adding a remote starter and backup sensors. This way with the SHO, it already has the backup sensors.
Getting to the point, after driving it for a day, I told my son I have no regrets and I love the car and everything it does. Lots more room than the TL and great features like the adaptive cruise control, BLIS, auto wipers, auto high beam, power rear shade, backup sensors, massage contour seats, heated front and rear seats and more and more options than you can believe. I never had a Sync before and I love it too. The hard drive is a great idea. Traffic, five day weather forecast, radar map, sports info and movie listings are a plus for me. I never thought I would say this but the Sync is so much better than the Acura's.
The two things I wish the SHO had is a locking gas cap and Zagat ratings for restaurants but I can always get a locking gas cap for it which I will.
I hope to have this car for a long time and I am enjoying the ride. Today I got video screens with FLO/TV in the head rests for the kids and they love it. Great for vacations.
