I purchased my 2013 Police Interceptor sedan with the 3.5 ecoboost a few months ago, and started upgrading it right away. It just crossed my mind that I might have the fastest Gen 4 Interceptor currently in existence, and that would be really cool. Whether or not this is true it would be nice to connect with other interceptor owners. As always thanks for any input.

There is a guy here in IL that picked up one that never saw service with I think less then 10k on it. I think it was was running 13.6 at the SHO convention drag meet which was pretty impressive for a stock car that probably weighs more then a stock SHO. A great place to start for tuning.

Is that the blue one? I ran a search of "police interceptor" on the forum page and that's the only one that popped up. It looks like he got a killer deal. Mine ran a 13.5 here in Salt Lake City, which is pretty good for our altitude. Since then I have worked on my launch and removed another 100 lbs or police equipment so hopefully it does better. Dirty Harriet as I call her has all the basic bolt-ons.

I'm not sure if he posts here but I want to say he said he spent like 28k on it if I remember correctly.

I got mine for $19k out the door with 38k miles on it. The interior is base model but with the upgrades they made for law enforcement it's basically a pp package and then some. Another bonus is my insurance didn't go up cuz they don't know it's a SHO.

I'll probably see you around. I'm from the SLC/Layton area. Just picked up a DIB PP. Loving it so far.

I'm sorry but what does DIB stand for again?

You should take it out to the midnights at RMR. You'll probably be surprised by how well your car does compared to all the other street legals.

Usually if I go I take one of my mustangs. The midnight "atmosphere" is something I'm not a huge fan of. To many noobies on the track. I'll try to hit up a test n' tune next year with it.

I was the noobie last time I went but luckily I had some help from my uncle. He runs in the sportsman class I think. Did you hear about the girl who totaled her brand new subaru? Apparently she just kept the gas pressed all the way to the end of the track. She busted through both fences and made it all the way through the gravel before she finally ran out of momentum.

Yeah, very sad. Its good you have someone who understands the track to mentor you. The quality of drivers and their skill sets in the newer generations is pure garbage. Not all...but most. The good news though if you're fast enough in the 11's/12's you pretty much don't have to worry about anyone hitting you because you're in front. :)

At MMP you are REQUIRED to sit through a class room instruction and have an instructor ride with you until you're signed off. RMR needs to have a driver orientation requirement in order for people to make a pass down that track now.
