I had the 60k tune-up done on my '93 mtx and also had the shoshop ported intake and butterflies installed and now I think its slower than ever. How would I check if the secondaries are even opening? I could feel them open before at just under 4,000 rpm's. Now its just flat all the way across the rev line. Do I lose that much torque with the ported intake or do I need more back pressure now? I have the shoshop bypass pipe and no resonator.

You sure all the vacuum lines for the intake are hooked up?

I agree for SHO. If one of your vac lines weren't reconnected when the intake was reinstalled you would be down on power. You should be able to hear the secondaries opening.
