Fake Posts in Gen 4

i have reason to believe some threads about problems may be false in the Gen 4 area some threads just make me and others wonder...


are you guys able to check the IP's of when people post? maybe locations?


for example he only had the one post and only visited the site once

One thing to remember, is that you'll always hear more of the bad than the good.

Take your own signature for example....no pros, just CONS in capital letters. (I guess the 13.6 could be a pro)

So someone's stuff breaks, they come online asking if anyone else had the problem, then disappear. It's like that all over the internet.

As a Super Mod at another forums community....

I am able to not only banner Spammers, but also am able to view their respective I.P. addresses.

Most of these clowns use the same I.P. addy's, but will register using fictitious or fraudulent email addy's.

I also am under the impression that some of them are paid for their "services" to infiltrate and post their advertising crap on various boards.

In my experiences, it seems that most will sign up during the overnight hours (when most Americans are sleeping) and most are based, or originate out of the Country.

It takes a lot of diligence from your Moderation and Admin Staff to stay on top of it, otherwise, it can quickly get out of hand.

Hopefully those that are responsible for keeping an eye on things here on SF, Police the community well.

It helps too have members who report them to, such as you have

FYI none of these posts look like fakes to me. Just people with issues. And for what its worth each new member is screened before they can post. Its been this way for at least 1 year. None of the IP's on these guys are the same.

JMatero is a guy over on the mustang forums that has championed the MT82 as the greatest piece of crap ever engineered, and will take any (and every) excuse to crap all over it wherever he can. His antics have gotten him banned from several forums, and he's gone so ******** that he even got a 60 Minutes piece done on it, and forced Ford to make a public response.

The thing is, the MT82 really isn't that bad. It's certainly not as awful as the MTX-4 is.

You would have probably shot the place where I work up if you were me having to hear all the jokes made at my expense about the SHO. We do it all in good fun or to get a rise out of someone. If it works, we win, if they shoot it right back and we take offense, they win.

Who cares, you cant make everyone happy. Do you like your SHO? Cool.. they don't. Let them sell it and find something about the next car to ***** about on their forums.
