Factory Paint

Does the factory paint from a 92 have a clear coat? Also deos anyone know the steps and type of paint used for that year especially for the bumper. After an accident I got a new bumper but the paint is already chipping off. I want to make sure it gets done right. Thanks.

No. The white (Oxford White) was not clear-coated (all other colors were). Starting in '94, it was called Vibrant White and was clear coated.
