Experience with exhaust mods...?

Well I finally installed my Corsa Exhaust after it sat in my shop for a few months...
I like the sound, it's just what I was looking for. A bit more note but not a ricer drone.

I've noticed what I'll call a slightly less smooth idle, or maybe its a subtle rumble from the exhaust?

It seems to me that there may be a slight decresae in low end power...but maybe I am nuts???

What have you guys found when changing to an aftemarket exhaust? This is the only mod I've done to the car at this point.

I have noticed also what seems like a "miss" when I installed my Magnaflow exhaust but never really paid alot of attention to it. One guy had a wire that was near the motor that was actually touching that he felt was causing a grounding issue and when he covered the wire with tubing, it went away. I was able to move my wire away and zip tie it away from the edge of the head and it is still present.

Perhaps it has always done it and now the exhaust just amplifies it since its louder than stock. But, in saying that, Ford had to replace an injector and all six plugs a bit after I bought it. Had a REAL bad misfire and engine light was raising ****. Haven't had a feeling like that since. Curious to see if anyone else has noticed it too.

I have Corsa also, no miss. I did apply tubing around the wire mentioned below before it had worn through the insulation.

Maybe a little when cold in the first minute of running in gear I have thought the idle was a bit rough. But in neutral no misses, very throaty on these cold mornings.
