It's been a long time coming, but it's going on as we speak. EBB's discount with bandit exhaust is awesome. I'll post pics along the way

It's nice to have a friend that's the lead mechanic at the dealer that can install my stuff at the dealer.

Congrats on your purchase. You're gonna love the sound too. Had my Magnaflow now for a few months and have finally gotten use to the V-6 rumble. Good find bud!

My turbos seem to be louder. I'm wondering if I have a leak. I'll have him check it again 2morw. Doesn't feel as if I've lost any power. Doesn't feel as if I gained any either

Area you hearing the turbos from the exhaust now? That's typical. When I went to Livernois you could hear the turbo at idle on their shop car with the Corsa exhaust.

Great photos, and the exhaust looks great! I really like your license plate frame! Give both the frame and exhaust 2 thumbs up!

I like what I hear so far. But coming from my Harley Truck, I guess it's not what I expected

Hey Greg!

Looks gggrrr88888!

(That's a G8 thing for you FORD geeks!)

It will get slightly louder over the next 10K or so... My 09'G8 has gotten louder.

Brick was really quiet at first (under 2K) with my axle back Magnaflows & stock tips. At around 20K I added NESHO's Mid-pipe x-pipe, that replaces the stock 3rd cat & mid-muffler. It is somewhat louder, but does have a "sour" spot around 1,800 RPM where it becomes noticeable. Otherwise it is relatively quiet. What was interesting, is that the boost levels, with a 3-bar MAPv sensor actually showed a 1-1.5 boost gain with the NESHO mid-pipe! Whether that relates to a real world performance gain.... is still "up in the air." SO FAR.. I'M USING A "SLOW TRACK"- HAVE HAD 90 DEG TEMPS, AND WHEN IT'S COOL - 100% HUMIDITY... NOT TO MENTION MY BAADDD. DRIVING.

I SUX...

Now that I've put some miles on it. The break in smell has went away. I feel that the car has learned to breath better cause it feels faster. Last nite my car was just running great. Others at stoplights noticed my exhaust and wanted to hear me dog it. Lol. It's still quieter than I like. Especially at higher rpm. It's null and void at 5k and above.

Mike, it's not in the class as yours sound wise. I kinda thought yours was annoying at 1st. Now that I think back, I want mine to be annoying. I'm definitely getting the X-pipe from Kirk just to see what happens.

Hey Greg,

Great to see that you have the magnaflow installed. It took a few miles for the smell to go away when I installed mine as well. For the first few miles, I found the drone to be a little bit annoying but now it's all settled and I'm a big fan of the sound. I can make it loud and annoying when I choose or just a subtle rumble at other times.... Give it a little more time and then let us know what you think! :thumb:

I'm gettin used to the sound. I guess if I really think about it maybe it shouldn't be so loud considering the market it's aimed for. It's a sound u would expect if u had a nice lux car. On the flip side, people can tell I have an exhaust. Just that tone alone since I've had the exhaust has people at spot lights pointing and asking questions. I'm happy. I'm still getting the x-pipe though. Kirks webpage needs a little work. Guess I'll call next week

Greg,

The big reason for their mid-muffler is the "Drone" issue that most aftermarket exhausts seem to have. I agree with the sound issues you have, which is why I went with the NESHO mid-pipe. By eliminating the 3rd cat & the mid-pipe you definitely get more sound, but it's not really obnoxious. Wife finally commented on it about 1,100 mi into our return trip to IA. What I also did was make the piece removed switchable with the NESHO mid-pipe mod by welding in flanges at the back that allow a quick switch back to stock (in my case) 3rd cat & mid-muffler. Haven't changed it back, but this is a solution for anyone who has emissions testing requirements.

Hey Greg, looks awesome... I was about to buy the Corsa exhaust from Raven on this site, but he found a buyer in the US... His offer at 700$ was very interesting...
That said, for that price range, I guess Magnaflow is a very good option...
Could you (or EBB) inform me (again) of the discount price you got and does anybody know how much it would be once sent to Montreal Canada?
Thanks a lot!
Steve
