Ok please don't flame me cause I am sure there are other threads about this.... I just can't find any.

Will my exhaust of my 92 fit right right up to my 91? I think there is something about the rear bumper and the tail pipes not working right. My 92 has some sorta after market mufflers that sound nice and deep and I would like them on my 91. I am selling the 92 any day now.

Are all the exhaust hangers the same between the two?

Ya its gotta rod shifter, it's a plus:naughty:. I should be more specific.... I want to swap everything from the y-pipe back as one whole piece.

So no problem with tail pipes/tips? I know that gen2's do the little bend from the **** and out the rear under the bumper cover AND that gen1's don't show their tail pipes. No problems here?

On gen 1's the tips are barely visible (stock anyway), while the gen 2's stick out a ways and sit lower. This may be a problem. You may have to do a little bending on the back section, but you should be able to make it work.

rear exhaust

should have no problems. when I fitted the 89 GL/SC with the dynomax, the rear exhaust pipes fed out straight under the bumper edge. as I recall, they were a little tight, and may tend to rub or be very close to the bumper on the gen 1 rear bumper. however, a little creative twisting and adjustment of the rear mufflers should do the trick.

will post a pic of the 89 w/ dynomax if I can find it ...

OK here is a shot of the 95 ATX, and 89 GL/SC, both w/ Dynomax. Fits fine.
