Exhaust manifold/cc gasket?

i'm reworking the exhaust the previous owner had pieced back together, with leaks....

i know there is an exhaust gasket ring that fits on the bottom of the cat pipe... but is there any sort of gasket to better fit the top of the cat pipes to the header/manifold. I realize its flanged but seems to be potential for leaks there again.

There isn't any gasket that goes there.

since theres a topic on this already.....
where can i purchase flanged pipes that fit there?

OR

what can be done fabrication wise to better seal that place?
maybe the header can be machined to have a flat ******?
