If you're like I was when I bought my SHO a year or so ago, I had a hard time finding a mechanic that was both reliable/trustworthy and experienced with SHOs. I've finally found a guy in Kansas City who's done a couple major jobs on my '92 MTX, and I'm nothing but satisfied with his workmanship as well as his integrity.
His name is Gregg Cheshire and he runs his own repair shop (Cheshire Automotive LLC) in Kansas City. He has over 20 years experience as a mechanic, and his business card says it perfectly: "Old fashioned service - New Technology." Gregg's phone number is (913) 647-1547.
So if you're in this part of the Midwest, I can personally recommend Gregg to the membership. Feel free to contact me if you want details on what he's done on my SHO. The latest job was an installation of my new SPEC clutch and motor/tranny mount replacement...plus a bunch of other little things he came across while in there.
