I recently purchased a 2013 SHO with every factory option available and some nice mods....Tune from Unleashed, H&R springs, 3-bar map, and 170 degree t stat (not yet installed). Got to drive it to and from Munich, Germany last weekend. Had it up as high as 140 mph and set the cruise on 110 mph when the road was clear. What a great ride. But I digress.

On to my question. The NAV only has the SD card for the US. Can I just buy the SD card for Europe (believe it's F2, F3, or F4)? Not sure if there are other things that need to be done to the system to make it work right. I've seen a comment in another forum that said installing only the SD card can cause satellite connection problems, spoken direction problems, distance errors, etc.

Any insight is much appreciated.

You may need to load the euro language pack if it doesn't work properly with the "F" series card. If you need to do that send me an email.

Thanks jmr. Does it matter which card I get? What is the difference between the F2,F3,F4? From what I've found they are all compatible with my SHO. I've found F4 cards available on UK Amazon and UK ebay, but prices range fron £30 to £170.

Thanks rubydist. That's what I was thinking, but wanted to confirm with someone in the know.

not that I am aware - I think you can update the maps version on any of the Sync versions.

Just wanted to pass on that I ended up buying the F4 SD card. Plugged it in and everything seems to work. I'll test it more this weekend with a road trip to Stuttgart.
