does code 511 have anything to do with having a tuner installed? I have that with six other no-problem codes having to do with the deleted EGR and running rich. car has a CEL on due to the rich condition (11-12:1 all the time)
I need a tweecer. bad.
turbo ATX update: the 4 PSI WG spring didn't lower boost enough to eliminate my spark knock. I had what I think is a 17+ psi spring in there so I was sure that was my problem. the wastegate I want is $550, curiously similar the cost of the tweecer, that's another 1.1K tossed in the turbo SHO hole. being that I'm now poor and have to work with what I have, back to tuning square one.
Also I'm going to try one heat range cooler plug, my autolite 3923's already have soot all over them, save for the tip of the insulator. I think that I might be getting PI off of that. (if only I had ionization equipment laying around...)the 3922 may just foul out, but it's a cheap experiment.
