551 - IMRC problem, i know my secondaries opened when i drew suction on the line last year after i painted it, it sat around for a year and now it's on the car. what should i be checking for this?

stored:

332 - EGR failed, im running a 92 mtx intake with a 93 atx engine, so there's no holes for that big heat pipe from the rear manifold to attach to, it's hanging loose right now with no vacumes hooked up

646 - transmission 2nd gear failure, i think this was a one time issue, my transmission decided to stay out of first or 2nd until i re-started the car, then all was well, it happened while i was messing around between 1,2 and d and sorta on the gas.

koer

332
632 - E4OD - Transmission Control Switch (TCS) i don't think i have an o/d that works, car is 93 atx in a 94 wagon i didn't notice anything that could possibly be a wire attaching to the o/d button, how is it supposed to work? at 75 mph it's running about 2500 rpm.

the light comes most times i drive the car after it has warmed to full heat, i presume it's the 332 code that keeps popping up. as far as im concerned it runs just fine, so should i be overly concerned of any of these codes?

on a side note will any of these codes cause the car to fail an emission test, i need one end of august, i was just going to bolt the big heater pipe to the intake but not cut out the hole for it, maybe i will need this bit for the winter?

The cel will come on because of the non-functional egr system. However, I've done an mtx conversion and passed emissions with no egr connected, so that will not be fatal to the emissions test, unless the cel being on results in automatic failure (which it does some places, but not in CO).

Your 551 is more likely the control box for the ias being sick or dead than the vacuum dashpot.

There is a small wire running up the shifter to the switch on the handle, and most commonly that little wire has either come off the switch or gotten cut/pinched somewhere in there. Its possible, but challenging, to take it apart and run a new wire up the shifter into the switch. More commonly, I've seen guys wire in another momentary contact switch somewhere on the console or dash.....
